What do you think about my water parameters?.
I don't test the water much, but today i decided to test it & these are the results:-
Nitrate = 200
Nitrite = 0
GH = 16
KH = 3
PH = 6.8
I only have south american fish like:- Angels, Corydoras, BN, Rummynose & Black Neons.
Thanks alot.

Unless that's a typo, I find the nitrAte a tad high. While the fish may look "fine" I dont see a reason to allow the nitrAtes to build up that high. It's almost asking for trouble sooner or later. The corys I'm sure would appreaciate a few more gravel vacs. Adding some fast consuming live plants such as hornwort will help pull those numbers down to the 20ppm range.

A tad high? That's 10times the highest on my tanks. I freak out if it gets up to 40 and do water changes every day for the next 3 days

Jason

There is a product from prodac which you can find and helps to absorb nitrates and plants usually help to reduce nitrates. try to add some more plants

In the 29g tank with barely any light for plants I just tossed in some hornwort and left it floating. It tends to fall apart near the bottom of you plant it but floating it stays green. It uses up quite a bit of nitrates and unlike other floating plants such as duckwood it won't get stuck to the filter intake as easily.
