	What do you use in your FLUVAL 304 filter?

tankie Fish Addict Posts: 857 Kudos: 848 Votes: 230 Registered: 15-Mar-2005	thats fine..u got the mech (ur foam)..ur bacterial oad by rings and chem by activated carb....and still u got space in it...u can use other media..like if u want to acidy ur water..use peat...or improve the bio filter..use another form of media...with canister filters in general...u have ths space to add more...making it ideal filters

So_Very_Sneaky Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3238 Kudos: 2272 Votes: 201 Registered: 10-Mar-2004	In the bottom level of my Fluval I put Filter Floss, above the floss in the same bucket I put carbon or zeocarb. In the next level I put 1 pound of pure peat granules full to the brim. In the top level is biorings in the cleanest water. Then the sponges on the side of course.
