I woke up this morning to find a bunch of little worm like things in my tank, there is Endlers endler fry and some ghost shrimp in there.

I cannot do a water test until someone is around I got attacked by a cat and can not use both arms

I need to know asap what these are as I don't want it to invade my tank as I cannot do water changes myself for about two weeks, unless I scam someone into helping me

They today are all stuck to the fry breeder and on plants (fake)

Any help would be great!!!!!

EDIT: Here are some pics, they are blurry sorry...photo taking skills have also declined
I also seen the other threads about worms but these don't look white they are more silver and the have black heads.

Hi,
From what I can see they are harmless, and can easily
become food for your fish.
I hate to say this, but usually they are the result of
poor maintenance habits and too much food. A gravel
vacuuming, a water change, and back off on the amount
of food that you are feeding should resolve the problem.

I concur with Frank. They are Planaria, which is also known as a type of Flatworm. Your fish will probably eat them.
More water changes, good gravel vacs, and less food will definetly get rid if them.

i have read up on this when i bought my oscar they form from wate in your tank and they are actually good there reason why they come to the top of your tank is because you water is to "dirty" for them if you do a water change (20%) they will return under your gravel! (this is where they live!)

like i say they are good for your tank there like a bacteria in a way that they feed of fish poop and left over food!!

hope that put your mind at rest!

(hey i helped someone )
