Normally a few days and the nitrifying bacteria converts it. Chlorine will dissapate after 24 hours with an airstone. However many water treatment plants, in the states especially, also use chloramine on occasion which cannot be removed thru aeration. IMO when it comes to chlorine and chloramine it's best to use dechlor drops. ^_^ And join me for a swim tonight" ![]() |
