It doesn't look the best, but it's better for the tank. Last time I switched substrate I used a shallow plastic take out container for the old gravel and hid it behind a few plants. Leave it in for 3-4 weeks, adding a dose of Cycle or biospira if you have it would also help. ^_^ ![]() |
