Hey guys.. my dads tank's water is starting to get cloudy.

I havent seen this one cory that wasnt looking too well, and i assume that he has passed away, and is the cause of the cloudy water... the only thing is that i cant find him, ANYWHERE in the tank.

What should I do?? Im thinking im gonna do a water cahnge monday, maby, but i dont even know if this is the cause., one time the water got really cloudy because some charcol got in the filter...

im pretty sure we found the problem:

the bio wheels quit turning, because the spraybars got clogged.

One kept turning, but the other stopped, and looked like it started to dry out.

Sounds like you need a maintenance program that starts with water changes and extends to equipmnet on a weekly basis. How often do you clean your filters, inspect your equipment and do your water changes?

I have to check my biowheels near daily. It's easy for something to get stuck there or a pest snail to climb up and lodge itself in the wheel. Also if too much junk or plant leaves get stuck to the intake or to the filter pads it slows the water enough to stop the wheels.
