i am getting readings of 0.5ppm ammonia 0 nitrite and my nitrate is rising, curently 25ppm, this is after only one week, ismy tank cycling as it should? its a 70g with 12 danio.

did u use any bacterial support?? was the water tested for nitrate before using it in the aquarium??

been doing daily tests, had a very small rise in ammonia yesterday but back down again today, never had a nitrite reading other than 0. used interpet filter start bactarial culture.

Sounds right.... you started with some bacterial additives if I remember correctly that'll be what's giving the nitrAte reading.
Since the second set of danios was added partway thru that'll cause whats known as a minicycle...which is why you're seeing the ammonia spiking with nitrAtes present. You may have missed the nitrItes before (although I remember that stage being rather long last time I cycled).
