	cycling question
hembo666 Big Fish Posts: 350 Kudos: 288 Votes: 3 Registered: 01-Apr-2005	i am getting readings of 0.5ppm ammonia 0 nitrite and my nitrate is rising, curently 25ppm, this is after only one week, ismy tank cycling as it should? its a 70g with 12 danio.

Since the second set of danios was added partway thru that'll cause whats known as a minicycle...which is why you're seeing the ammonia spiking with nitrAtes present.
