ok i have a 55 gal fw tank and my fish had the ick,and i treated them like the meds say to do,now my tufa rocks are turning light green?its been three days and the fish still have the ick,and i have also turned up the temp to about 80d.help?

First of all what kind of meds did you use?
Second how long did you treat for?
What fish do u have?
The tempature helps speed up the ick life cycle in order for the meds to kill the ick in the non-attached stage. Did you just recently turn up the temp or did you turn up the temp from the beginning of the treatment?
I have treated ick with tuffa in my tank without meds or anything noticably affect the whitish color tuffa. My friend has had his clear silicon on the tank and it absorbed the dye in some meds. The tuffa usually will get discolored due to algae growth which is probably what you are experiencing.

Hi,
It could be one of two things. As was mentioned the green
could be from algae starting to take hold, or if you used
an ich medication containing malachite green (copper),
the rock might be stained.
