i've got a question.. i have 2 angelfish and i just tested my water and it tests out that i have very hard water. could any of you recommend a water softner or a buffer that will help make my water softer for them. and also, is aquarium salt alright to use for stress? any help asap would be wonderful and greatly appreciated

My angels do just fine in hard water. If yours were raised in hard water, then trying to switch ph/hardness on them might be more stressful than just keeping the hard water.

You don't need to mess with the hardness unless you're intent on breeding them. In that case, put some driftwood and plants in the tank, filter with some peat moss, and mix in some reverse osmosis water when doing a water change.
