i saw amquel plus + at petsmart yesterday... im wondering..in case of high ammonia/nitrite situation...can this be use as an emergency solution??? it says...it removes ammonia(1.2 ppm)/nitrite(2 ppm)/nitrate(?)
so..it removes...not convert??? who ever had a chance to use this product...any comment!!! thx

when i was first starting I used it, but in all honesty i wouldn't use it now if used it can also give you false readings that can send you to using more of it...

i think the best and safest way to get rid of high levels is keeping up with your water changes...an emergency water change is a lot easier I would think on the fish than adding more chemicals that may or may not work...

50% Water Change for sure, less chems the better, I dont know the brand of chem you have there but in my experience if you have carbon in you filter it majorly reduces the effectiveness of this type of chemaical anyway FYI
