	is it that hard to find a gh test kit?
moondog Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002	i went to 2 lfs' today and neither one had a gh test kit. and one of them is half fw/half sw, i would think they would have a gh kit i can get kh in most places, but i don't understand why gh is such a problem? The nearby LFS, a "mom & pop" size store sells them as does the super store (PetSMart). I have the Aquarium Pharmacy Master Kit. Tests pH (high & low) Ammonia, nitrite, GH and KH. harleysiber Fish Addict Posts: 591 Kudos: 554 Votes: 47 Registered: 11-Aug-2003	I also have the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals test kit (Doc Wellfish on the front) that came with GH and KH. I also see them at the larger chain stores like Petsmart and Petco. If you can't see them there, there are MANY places online that you can order them. My favorite way to search s to do a Yahoo search for "Aquarium Pharmaceuticals test kit" and check out the prices. The only thing I've had a hard time finding for test kits is the replacement test tubes, I'v only found one or two sites that carry them... but boy, do the come in handy (especially with multiple tanks).
