Did you clean anything with vinegar? That's the only thing I can think of unless your tap water is very low Ph.

I don't know if you should do anything drastic. I might do a water change again after I tested the tap to see if it's normal.

If you try to adjust Ph and haven't had alot of experience doing it things can go south in a hurry. Plus the rapid fluctuation may be worse for the fish.

If you can bring it back with a water change that's what I'd do. Baking soda will raise the Ph but I've never adjusted with it.

Good luck.

Mike

Do absolutely nothing. The fish have already had enough stress. If there all alive and looking ok your probably gonna be fine. In a couple days you maybe able to start to up it.

If the fish are fine leave the tank be for now. Test your tapwater ph and kh and then leave a bucket or cup of water to sit for 48hrs then test again. If the kh is extremely low you can use baking soda to raise the kh and ph. If the water changes over 48hrs then it's full of gases and you will have to let the water degas before using it. If you can't store water for a few days before a water change running an airstone in a bucket for a few hours before a water change will usually bring the ph up enough.

Do a tank test again to make sure you got it right or if it has settled back to a "Normal" level

Also do a water test directly from your tap.

I always store the water for one week before the next water change. I have never airated it. It is 25Lt water containers I just leave to screw top off.

When I do the water change I always add a PH buffer for the stored water only not the total tank water.

Maybe you could change very small amounts of water everyday. That way you don't do the same thing next time you do a normal water change. Has their been any large storms in you area? Maybe you just had a bad test- try testing again.
