Check the ingrediants and if possible look at the actual mix before you buy it and see if it has anything like those white pieces added. Those will either poison your fish or give you one of the most awesome algae blooms ever. Otherwise several aquarium companies sell peat in various forms if you want to go the safer but more expensive route. |
