What is your pH? What fish do you have, and why do you want to raise it?

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Is 6.2 the stable ph of your tank? Are your fish showing any signs of being in distress that would lead you believe your ph may possibly be to low? If your fish are thriving content, healthy and happy,I don't think I would be to concerned with raising the ph.

How can you safely adjust the ph. Is there a range that you can move ph over a few days? How do I know how much ph up/down to add per L?

Changes to ph should be made as slowly as possible. I wouldnt change it much more than .1ppm a day.

Baking soda will change the KH not the PH...

I agree on not changing it if it's stable, fish are stressed by changes in ph, once you change it you will need to maintain it in order to not stress your fish.
