It will increase the hardness and pH. If you want to increase the values a little, some of the above in the toe of a nylon or pantyhose and placed in the output of your filter will work as well. Soft rocks tend to leach minerals slowly and are a good way to increase pH if crushed coral is not your choice. --garyroland. |
