throw some frozen scallops or shrimp in the tank let them sit for awhile and after about a month or so you should be good to go.

You're probably confused...

Fishless cycling is done with pure ammonia but is a thing of the past and time consuming.

Purchase a bottle of the "New Improved Cycle", add some fish and you're on your way.

Do it the easy way.

Opps! I read the article again, and it;s 5ppm, not .5ppm for a start load, so I'm still well short! Thats actually good news as I was worried that my tap water was that toxic!

The other things I said are still valid, high PH, and nitrAte in the tap water, wierd.
