Fishless cycling is done with pure ammonia but is a thing of the past and time consuming. Purchase a bottle of the "New Improved Cycle", add some fish and you're on your way. I read the article again, and it;s 5ppm, not .5ppm for a start load, so I'm still well short! Thats actually good news as I was worried that my tap water was that toxic! The other things I said are still valid, high PH, and nitrAte in the tap water, wierd. -Dennis |
