stuquarium![]() ![]() Enthusiast Posts: 262 Kudos: 275 Votes: 0 Registered: 28-Oct-2004 ![]() ![]() | ok ay guys. i got fed up! i' have completly cleaned the tank that was having greenwater issues. pic here http://www.stuartsmithmusic.com/fish/green2.jpg now. it's never looked so good! i have a bubble wall in it this time to help with airation. i have also move the tank to some where else. to see if the green water was caused by sunlight/position do you think i wil lget GW again now that everything has been rinsed out. and cleaned throughly? or am i doomed to always having greenwater. rohnds![]() Fingerling Posts: 27 Kudos: 25 Votes: 1 Registered: 31-Oct-2003 ![]() ![]() | Sunlight is not the only culprit of green algae ... high nitrates, phosphate and calcium and low oxygen levels can also cause cause green algae.
