| Old Text: | These eels are almost blind and will eat only what they can smell out. Feed with cocktail shrimp or live glass shrimp. This eel can go up to 3 months without eating, and in many cases will have never feed at your LFS. Unless you can get it to settle down it wont live much more then two months. This eel seems to do equally well in freshwater, brackish water, and pure saltwater. They need hiding places, PVC pipe or rock with deep caves are a must to get the eel to relax. The tank MUST be tigh -----------
