| Old Text: | Though pugnacious with others of its own species, as well as other arowanas of other species, there are many just as easily kept tank mates that will suit this fish. Some being the larger fish of the knife family (feather fins), large tinfoil barbs, giant gouramis, multiple larger cichlids (cichlids should be of the same water parameters/requirements as the arowana), and larger Asian and South American catfishes.
