| Old Text: | This tetras is one of the very few species that does not need to be kept in a school. They seem to be downright anti-social, and will chase and harass each other, as well as other tetras with a similar body shape. One per tank is just fine, unless the tank is a large one. In that case, more can be added with caution. Any tank with these fish should have some plant clumps and other areas of cover, but should also have plenty of open swimming space.
