| Old Text: | Green Severums are very peaceful for cichlids and are recommended for beginners. Young Green Severums have black vertical stripes along their body which they lose with age. Only the rear stripe is retained. Over time Green Severums become very trusting of their owner and can be hand fed. Color variations include gold, bown, peruvian green, and on rare occasions possibly mixed with a bit of red.-----------
