Some pairs you might try are: Convicts, but that is probably pushing it. Brichardi are really nice but that might still be a bit much. Flag cichlids are quite small (around 2.5in and a max of 4in). Rams are also smallish, and might make it in a ten. Look at: apistos blue/gold rams shell dwellers kribensis All of those except for the shell dwellers will do fine on gravel or sand. The shell dwellers will need sand. Before considering sand though you should become aware of the problems that come with it. (cleaning, bacteria, clogging filters) |
