	10 Gallon with Cichlid Potential
Hooktor Fish Addict Posts: 646 Kudos: 651 Votes: 67 Registered: 22-Mar-2004	I have a ten gallon which i used to breed bettas in and now i would like to start a little cichlid tank since i have tried cichlids in my 20 gallon community but i think it would be easier to have a species tank. So i was wondering if there was any cichlid that do alright in a 10 gallon with no plants and some rock/driftwood (simple!) decorations. Shellies are pretty expensive around here so any other options? I would like to have more than two fish but i know that it might not be a possibility!

I would also use something like some zebra danios to cycle the tank(if it's not already) before I add the rams. You may also want to test your water to find out if there might be any pontential problems the rams could have with it and correct that also before you add them.
