I've got a spare 10g tank collecting dust and I've always wanted to do a small cichlid tank. Is there a common species that might work in a 10g tank? I realize 10g isn't much to work with but do I have any options?

Thanks in advance.

Shelldwellers such as Neolamprologus brevis and N. multifasciatus should be fine, and the same goes for a pair of German rams. If you were to keep your water very clean, a male and two females of a small Apistogramma species would work as well.

Go with Shelldwellers or Rams, with some sand & some snail shells or rocks.
