Im in the process of setting up my 125g and im most likely going to get fronts. Im getting Burundi's. heres what im thinking about about stocking

125g
14 fronts (wittled down to 5-7)
3 calvus (black, white,& yellow

what do you think.

I would stick with the fronts only.

Also I am thinking you are getting small fronts as I would think 14 full sized fronts would be a crowd IMO.

I would get F1's from a good source and raise them up.

Half a dozen adult Fronts in that size tank with some Calvus will be fine. Let us see the young ones when you get them!

Calvus would work fine in that tank, now your gonna have to eventually sell off the male fronts, till you have like a 1:4 Male to Female ratio in that tank, and that's pretty much all your gonna be able to have in the end, and btw, calvus are a BIG comitment, they live usually to round 50 years, the record was ~100 i think

yea, calvus live for a LONG time, it take around 2 years for the fry to get to an inch long, then from then on about an inch per 1.5-2 years, they grow to 6", and then live longer once they stop growing
so.....................
