Is there any cichlid that is small enough to fit into a 15 gallon yet also a prolific breeder? I know convicts can breed like crazy but a 15 is too small. How are rams at breeding in a 15g?

Rams are great in a 15 gallon, you can also do shelldwellers. Theres not too many cichlids that would breed in a 15, so rams and apistos are the best choice.

Rams could fit but they take a bit more work to get breeding, you could go with the following- brichardi
- rams
- kribs
- shelldwellers

full grown brichardi would need about 30 gallon for a pair or trio, the same with the other neolamprologus leleupi, daffodil pulcher, helanthius, etc.

Shellies, apistos, rams, and kribs.

I am breeding brichardi in one of my 15 gallons and they are doing fine. Both the parents are about 4".

For me, the easiest dwarf/small cichlid is the krib. Its a really fascinating fish too so has my vote.
