hey i have a new 27 gallon tank that i need to stock and all i have for it is one jewelled that was given to me and is in a 10 gallon know. i went to me LFS and looked to see what they had and i was really interested in the bumble bee cichlid ( i think that is what it was called its bright yellow)anyway any ideas that you guys have would be greatly appreciate.

The most common bright yellow cichlid (the Electric Yellow, Labidochromis caeruleus) and the fish that most commonly goes by the name Bumblebee cichlid (Pseudotropheus crabro) are both mbuna, and I wouldn't recommend them for a 27.

But if you like bright yellow, you might look into the Lemon Yellow, Neolamprologus leleupi, a Tanganyikan rockdweller with a gorgeous gleam that could form a lovely little family group in a tank your size.
