South American cichlids would include all the usual dwarfs (rams, bolivian rams, flag cichlids, golden eyed dwarfs, apistos), angelfish, keyhole cichlids. Central American cichlids would be more limited - any archochentrus (convict, honduran red points, nanoletus, blue eyed cichlids), rainbow cichlids. W. African dwarfs like kribs. Tanganyikans - any shell dwellers, calvus pairs, brichardi complex pairs, leleupi pairs, any julidochromis (dwarf species best). Malawian (not my area) - I've heard electric yellows will work. Eric |

A nice community tank with rams or keyholes maybe? Lots of color and shape variations. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Ferretfish at 19-Jan-2005 16:29 -Formerly known as the Ferretfish ![]() |

I dont have anything in the tank yet except some clay and not even any water. I wanted to know what fish I could get before filling it up, cycling it and planting it. My criteria: Big/Largish Fish Low Matinence. TY Sarra |
