Ok i have a 30gl. community with mostly smaller fish (guppies) and i was wondering if i can get any knid of cichled in there?

You could get a pair of rams, depending on how many other fish you have. Or, you might be able to have an angelfish, but that depends on whether you have any neon tetra-like fish, as they are the prey of angelfish.

It really depends on if you have fish in there already and what they are. Some options would be rams, apistogrammas, maybe some shell-dwellers.

3-4 is pushing it. I think 1 would be best...maybe 2.

Keyholes would work very well in your tank. They have more of the cichlid shape than angels.

I would go with 2-4 Keyhole Cichlids then some Guppys. That would work probably as long as the Keyhols don`t gt hungry, mine did fine with a guppy for a few months but I ran out of food for a week and a half and one day the guppy was ate but that was after a week. They was fine before the Keyholes got hungry
