BeastKeeper![]() Big Fish Posts: 444 Kudos: 389 Votes: 47 Registered: 27-Apr-2004 ![]() ![]() | i just happened to find a deal at my lfs that is selling a 24"x12"x36 for $ 30. this tank will ad to my 24"h collection. i have a tank that is 24"hx12"dx24"l and a tank that is 24"hx12"dx30"l now i have a tank that is 24"hx12"dx36"l. my idea is to have all the tanks in a row but have them all look like its one tank. the reason for this is im going to have different orgins of cichlids in each. so i was hoping for some ideas to stock these tanks. right now i think the 24"l with be assorted malawi cichlids, then the 30"l being the tanganyika tank, then the 36"l being the south american tank open for any suggestions thanks! |

They should bet the biggest tank, and then you can choose appropriate SA and Tang inhabitants for the other tank nd assign 'em however you like - ie leave the smallest to the SAs and stock Apistos perhaps, or make the smallest Tang and have Julies or a shelldweller species. If you went with something like aureum or one of the 3 Mixtecos then I think you could do a large school of corys as well. Corys may be ok with firemouths but the temperament of firemouths can vary from pretty peaceful to very aggressive so it would be more of a risk with fm's. ![]() |
