Wait any longer, you risk stunting the oscar.. Do water changes weekly and pay attention to your filter, feed small amounts of food a couple times per day and change up on the foods. Add other fish to the 29 once the oscar is no longer in there. It will bully the fish it can't eat, and will try to eat anything that will fit into it's mouth. I started several oscars in a 29 gal tank but only to 6 inch. The Amazon Nut... |

Put him in the 120 gal. tank, but remove the Corydoras, as they might become snacks. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Oscars, like people, vary from one to another. One can be peaceful and wouldn't harm a thing and another can be a terror and will have a go at everything in the tank. I found that oscars are actually nastier when they're smaller and get a little more placid as they get older. I'm not saying it wont work and it's certainly worth trying but definately keep an eye on it's tank mates ![]() |

When they are young the sharks are quite skinny and oscar chomps them..it takes a while to go down but he will do it. |
