But as far as aggressive cichlids in which you might be interested in, are you more interested in african or american cichlids? Would you rather have just a couple in your tank that grow in excess of 8 inches plus or would you rather have a few cichlids that are still aggressive but only reach around 5 inches in size?

HOKESE Mega Fish Posts: 1105 Kudos: 478 Votes: 271 Registered: 22-Feb-2003	i started my firemoutns off in that same tank size,i was lucky i didnt take mine long to pair up and breed,however they are full grown now and they are in a huge tank on there own.ive tried many times to put other chilids in with them without luck.there aggresion can get bad if you let it.but a great fish i must say,plus they look great and they are brillant parents
