Would two blue acaras, 6 cories, 2 or 4 rams, and some tetras or barbs be fine in a 75 gallon?

the blue acaras and cories would most likely work but the rams wouldn't. the acaras would be the rams up.

2 acaras, a school of cories and a school of tetras or smaller barbs would be fine in a 55 or 75. I've never kept rams or acaras so I can't comment as to their compatibility. I'd imagine you're likely to find some will say they'll get along and others will say you'll have trouble. it will probably just depend on the individual fish. personally, I don't see how rams would pose a threat to acaras so I'd be inclined to think they'd be fine but you might want to go with the 75 if you want to add rams just to give all the fish some extra space.

Sin, you sure those weren't either green terrors or green terror/acara hybrids? I've always heard true blue acaras are peaceful for the most part. I've never kept them so I can't say from personal experience but that's what I've read about them pretty much everywhere. Now if it was a green terror or even a terror/acara hybrid then I would expect it to be fairly aggressive.

I just got rid of my true blue acaras and I didn't think they were really peaceful. though the green severum might of had something to do with that
