My wife and I got a big surprise while she was feeding the fish- we had two babies. Seems my demasoni were busy.
So I have some questions. First, could some one direct me to an online resource that would be helpful in learning about the breeding habits of these types of fish? Second, when I got up one morning there were a bunch of rocks on top of the sunken city miniature(looked like someone took a handful of rocks and dumped them on it). Was this there handy work? Third, any precautions that I should take with them? I have several types of fish in this tank(50 gallon) and am worried about them getting eaten but don't think I can catch them to put in another tank.

cichlids love to dig so this is most probly there hand work. they would have been diging a pit to hide the fry in. most fish get protective when spawning so it would be advised to keep an eye out.
