Today is my birthday, and the owner of my LFS and I are pretty good friends. She told me to come in today to pick up a birthday present. (it was a nice array of different kinds of alcohol because i turned 21 today.) Her husband was there and they are planning on getting a new mascot fish for their store. Their current mascot fish is a beautiful 8 or 9 inch blue flower horn. Her husband said he wanted to sell it for the absolute ridiculous price of 25 dollars. I didnt even hesitate. I said "Sold!!" before he could even finish his words. Now i have a problem, i thought. I have a ten gallon with a new convict, and a 125 with a dovii. (5-6 inches or so)I decided to get a divider for my 125 tank. and worry about getting a new tank next week. Then i decided that i only needed one fish so i asked her if she wanted my dovii for feeders. she said that would be perfect. So now i have a ten gallon with about 100 feeders with more to come, and a 125 with a nine inch blue flowerhorn. Hey, maybe they will use the dovii for their new mascot and ill still be able to see him when i go in there!! Congratulations and Happy Birthday! Sounds like everything worked out great. The 125 will be perfect for your flowerhorn, but would have been too small for the dovii. So all in all it sounds like things worked out great. Hope to see some pics of the blue flowerhorn.
