What could I do to stop this behaviour? ![]() ![]() |

I have also placed him into another tank but he refuses to feed without the female. ![]() ![]() Last edited by ghostfish at 24-Nov-2004 00:43 |

I thought this was a common practice amongst cichlids. Last edited by Cup_of_Lifenoodles at 24-Nov-2004 00:53 |

The tank is 25 litres and contains the same water as the parents tank, the temperature is 27 degrees calcius and i feed them on newely hatched brine shrimp. ![]() |

With some people yes, they like to take all the cichlid eggs out. But personally, I like to give the fish a chance to care for them themselves. As it is much easier and less hasslesome if they do it. There is always a bigger fish... |

In any case, if the eggs are even LASTING a week, there's something wrong here--wigglers should be popping out within 2-4 days. |
