I am seriously thinking about placing Convict Cichlids to the tank, I want to know how many I can get away with placing in there and what are some good tankmates and how many of each for the 35 gallon tank? Jack Dempsey, Green Terror Firemouth, Salvini? What can I put together and how many of each kind would be okay? Also, I heard so many different view points on the minimum size tank that could be suitable for a Redbelly or two. What is the verdit? Help me please I need as much help as possible figuring this out! Im willing to listen to any suggestions, personal experiences, advice, etc. |

If your looking a a piranha one from the Serralamus genus would work. The most popular one is the black rhom. They grow to get 14" but grow very slow averaging 1/2"-1" a year. That would give you time to get a larger tank ready or you can always sell it as any size rhom is worth some good money. piranha-fury.com has more info on others of the genus. |
