![]() | Algae control? |
JWilsonNC![]() Fingerling Posts: 42 Kudos: 9 Votes: 0 Registered: 17-Jan-2002 ![]() ![]() | My 30 gallon Brevis tank is my first non-planted tank. What is the best way to control the algae that keeps covering the glass? I started with Brown Algae and have now graduated to Green. I clean the glass every 4 or 5 days. I have 4 Brevis and 2 Marlieris. Not that it's overpowering, it's just not attractive. I do use the Seachem Tang. salt and buffer. Would you recommend an apple snail or something like Purigen? Or do I want the algae? Thanks ![]() |

I did consider getting a BN, but as they prefer softer more acidic water I figured it would be easier to keep snails. |
