The more dominant of the two pushes the other angel behind a piece of driftwood and he sneaks out to eat, but the other angel pushes him back there all the time. If I added a third angel would this help the situation. My Scapes |

The third Angel might become best buds with the dominant one and they'd both pick on the other. I fyou've got room try 2 more. That way if a pair forms there isn't one lonely Angel getting harrassed by the other two. It'll spread it out. Good luck, Mike or you could tie a small piece of cork to the bottom fin of the cranky Angel. He'd spend all his time trying to stay upright and he wouldn't be able to pick on the other one. ![]() |

She sat in front of the tank for about 6 hours doing that and after that, they were best buds... ![]() PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread. |

If two pair off, they may cause trouble for the outsider. That happened to me. I left the pair alone and moved the third one to another tank. Someone else suggested adding two more instead of one. That would have to depend on the size of the angels, of course, as they do grow quite large and require a tall tank, but I think that is a good idea. Best of luck to you ![]() |

MAKE SURE you wash your hands the things we have on our hands sometimes burns the skin of the fish. After about a week of doing this each time I feed he gave up he must of thought that he was the one getting bullied now and didn't like it to much so he has changed his ways ![]() Also depending on how tall your tank is, doing this while feeding may leave some extra food stuck on the top of your arm! Make sure you wash the top of your arm to there might be food stuck to you that you can not see =p Hopefully this works for your cranky angel, It has worked for all my angels I have owned ![]() once again this has been to my experience (never failed though) Angel Eel P.S while doing this be sure not to hit the fish all you need to do is touch them!!! hitting them could result in an unhappy fish ![]() Last edited by Lindy at 15-Feb-2005 20:24 |
