	Angel fish with ....
RAST Big Fish Posts: 437 Kudos: 162 Votes: 236 Registered: 07-Feb-2002	I know they will grow to that long but in a tank they only grow to the size of the tank I have been told??? So what will work??? I currently have 3 kissing gouramis that are about 6 inch in length. I am wanting to put in a few Bristlenose as well then 2 Angels and as many Loaches. What would be a good number ?? 4 at least I am thinking? I will also put in some of my guppy fry for the Angels as well. Last edited by RAST at 02-Mar-2005 21:32

Angels will eat guppy fry; even the guppies would eat their own fry. Big angels will hunt down neons especailly if neons are intorduced in the tank after the angels(let's say I had a trial and error). Gee Gee !!I think I just learned somthing new!!

Clown loaches and kissing gouramis both grow to about a foot, and need a larger tank than the one you have/plan to get. Angelfish will sometimes eat neon tetras, I don't know about the guppies. However, they certainly will eat guppy fry. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

OldTimer Mega Fish USAF Retired Posts: 1181 Kudos: 1294 Votes: 809 Registered: 08-Feb-2005	That tank size is fine for the angel fish, however it's too small for full grown clown loaches and kissing gourami's as they get quite large in both instances. I wouldn't place those two species in anything smaller than a 6' tank at minimium. Water, taken in moderation, cannot hurt anybody. -- Mark Twain
