Is there any special care I should know about angels? And if I wanted to change the layout I have planned to a crystal/rock bed (I wouldn't move the cories from where they are), should I worry about torn fins with the angels? With fw angels, are there a large variety of patterns (I've seen marble and then streaked, but I'm not too fond of either). Or any angels that have some color in them? Or should I just rethink the angels all together and if so what should I stock it with? ^_^ Edit: fixed parameters Last edited by Sandy02 at 12-Jul-2005 19:47 |

Unfortunately, your tank is only 12.5 inches tall, which doesnt allow enough room for a fish that gets to be 10-12 inches tall to swim around. With Angelfish, a taller tank is important, one of at least 18 inches high. You could keep Angels, but not for their whole lives in that tank. You would constantly be trading them away every 6 months once they grow too tall for the tank. There are lots of other fish you could keep in there that would be much more suited to the shallow tank, such as Bolivian Rams, tetras of all sorts, german blue rams, etc. Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |

You need more height, so that your Angels can grow & have beautiful fins. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
