First of all, you have to decide what you like better, mollies or angels. You can have more mollies if you get rid of one of you angels. Or, you could keep both angels and get rid of some of the mollies. Corries are fine, but, in either case, I would bring the number up to 6 or 7. Here are two possible tanks: Tank A 2 angels 3 mollies 6 coirries Tank B 1 angel 5 mollies 7 corries Since you are getting a pair of angels, it looks like you are breeding. In that case, it would be nice to have a trio of mollies (1 m 2 f). There would be lots of little mollies swimming around (Mollies are livebearers, so your gona have lots of fry). That would make a nice snack for the angels, and a few of the babies might survive, building your tank up naturally. There is no problem with corries, they are fun, active, and will do a good job cleaning up. If you only want one angel, you can have more mollies. In this case, I would do all male and all female. There will be less predators and you don't want too many fry around. You could wind up with ALOT of mollies in a short amount of time. Welcome to the site and good luck. - DJ :88) |

The ghost shrimp would become lunch for the angels. How about 2 Angels bump the school of cories to 6/7 and maybe replace the mollies with cherry barbs or something a bit smaller than mollies. Although the mollies may do OK in there. Just a thought. |
