I'm prob. gonna take in the barbs for money. I was wondering, how many angels could i keep in a 40 gallon breeder? And what are the more expensive angels? About how much should i be able to get small ones from a lfs? I was also wondering if it is ok to keep the hatchets and the loaches with the angels. Thanks and i'll have more questions later, cuz i forgot everything i was gonna ask. ![]() |

Breeder tanks are normally shallow and there for not suited to the tall finnage of angels. You could possibly get away with 2 in there but, most likely will have some issues. The hatches would be the first thing to get picked on as they are in the same space as the Angels. Your loaches should be ok. Expensive Angels? P. Altums. But I would definitely not put Altums in this tank. They get much larger than P. Scalar (regular Angel) and really do best in species only tanks. As far as price goes it really depends on what the market is like in your area. For small ones I wouldn't pay more than 8 bucks each. |
