About a year ago I bought 5 koi angels. Around a month ago, within 3 days, 3 of my perfectly healthy angels were dead all of a sudden. Everything in the tank was perfectly fine, there was absolutely NO signs of illness, just the angels getting more aggressive with one another. I had them all in a 30 gallon, and had just started setting up a 75 gallon for them (stopped that process after the deaths because I really didn't have the room for it anyway, and it seems pointless now). (Note: I am going to set up the 75 I have now, just going to wait till I am in a bigger home). Anyway, back to the story, the one has grown much larger than the other one, and today the larger one looks like it ate dinner 12 times over, and is ROUND! I am HOPING this is meaning I have a pair, and can be expecting some eggs soon! Anyone have any similiar experiences, or advice about this? Thanks so much!

Get a piece of flat slate to lean up against the side of the tank, angels like to breed on vertical surfaces!

the part that the eggs form is above the anal fin. Check to see if her breeding tube is out. If it is she is ready to spawn. Get and amazon swordplant in the tank and if they start cleaning it they are gonna breed
