HI Everybody,

I have two fish tanks, one 79 gallon and one 33 gallon. In my 79 gallon, I have two medium sized tuxedo angels and 1 big black male angel who I had to move out of the 33 gallon because he had hurt the female (Missy) big time. He is a very peaceful guy, but Missy and he had their problems.

The 3 angels in my 79 gallon get along famously, no fighting at all. In the 79, I also keep other fish and 6 German Rams in this tank. I am thinking of moving the 6 Rams into the other fish tank (33 gal) with Missy. Now Missy is in there, with 5 Kuhlies, 2 green cories and 3 swordtails.

Will Missy and the Rams fight?

Is there a chance, Missy might kill the Rams or something?

No, i don't think your Angel might kill your Rams. Mine get along well & i haven't seen any chasing around.

You have to add 4 more Green Corydoras, to mke them a school of 6.

Arent you the guy whose Angel tried to swallow (or swallowed) a cory or a rasbora or something?

Should I be worried about the cories? Yes, I am planning to increase the school.

Would the following combination be overstocking?

7 Kuhlies
6 Cories
6 Rams
3 Swordtails
1 Angel

That tank would not be overstocked, though it is a close call. Just keep in mind that swordtails grow to three or four inches, and are very active fish. You need to make sure they have plenty of swimming space.

I doubt that the angelfish or rams would fight, both are usually quite peaceful species. Just keep an eye on the situation if you add the rams, to make sure that things go as well as they should.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Thank you SirBooks.

The reason I am moving so many fish into this tank is after my black angels fought and had to be separated, Missy was left all alone in this tank. Adding the big black angel in the other tank has definitely put a load on it, what with the 15 clowns and everybody else in there. I am trying to move fish out of my 79 gal to this 33 gal to reduce the load in the other tank as far as possible. I am also trying to keep the schools of fish together.

I already have 5 Kuhlies in the 33 gal, catching the other 2 from the 79 is a task in itself. I have been at it for over 2 weeks, and I have not succeeded yet.

Phew!

I had an Angel that ate a Rummynose & spitted the tail.
No, don't worry about the Corydoras, just increase the number to 6.
