Okay, I finally added some more fish to my 46g, but I am still having some difficulties sexing my Zebra Mbunas. I know Males have 'false egg patterns' do they mean big dots on the anal fin (1-3) or a bunch of little dots Pictures or sites were I can find more info would be most helpful

I believe the best way is to vent them, but u have to know what to look for. Besides that you will definetly figure out males from females when they mature as males tend to shake/vibrate when their ready to mate. The only Zebra I csn think of that the female is totally different are the red tops.

By all means marry; if you get a good wife, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.
