AFAIK, all of the Malagasy (from Madagascar) fish are uncommon to rare. These fish are beautiful to boot, I'd go for it.

A local guy has a ad online about them $10.00 (canadian) which seems like a good deal. I visited with him today, and wow are the nice. They are the maralambo species of bleekeri, and are wild caught, then imported to canada. He said he doesn't plan on getting rid of the breeding pair, so these fish will be available to me when im ready.

I think it would be good to get these fish circulating through the city atleast. They don't look like much when there small but when they mature. He told me they behave someone like an oscar, but won't think twice about defending themselves.
