I currently have 3 Aulonocara Stuartgranti "Mdoka" and I was curious if it would be possible to add a second species without any fighting or inbreeding occuring.

if you want another aulonocara species for that tank, they will crossbreed. aggression may not be a huge issue, but there may be only one dominant, colored up male. the male that is added may not color up or it may lose any color it has if it cant dominate the other male. alot of it may depend on the size of the tank. again, these arent set in stone rules, but this is what will most likely happen.

I say do not keep two peacock species in the same tank, the odds of cross-breeding are way to high...and aggression will for sure be an issue.

Depending on tank size there's a few Haps that make excellent tank mates for Aulonocara
