	Auratus and PH
Cichlid Keeper Big Fish Posts: 368 Kudos: 466 Votes: 304 Registered: 17-Aug-2003	Before I did my weekly water change today in my 40 gallon tank that contains 1 male auratus and 1 synodontis lace catfish I checked the ph of the tank and discovered it to be at 6.8 having always been at 7.5. Both fish seem to be acting normal and are showing no signs of any stress or problems of any kind. So my questions are What could have caused my drop in ph? and as long as the fish seem to not be having any problems should I be overly concerned with raising it backup? Thanks for any help.
