chris1017 Fish Addict Posts: 610 Kudos: 421 Votes: 70 Registered: 09-Sep-2003 | after many months of living together in their 125usg tank, my 6" green terror picked a fight with my 8" lutino oscar. the fight lasted 2 days with body damage to the gt and torn fins for the oscar. I think I am going to have some trouble on my hands now. It's strange that the gt has never stood up to the oscars little chases but over the last few days the gt started shaking himself constantly, possible breeding age, and after about 3 days the big fight happend. I'll put an end to it though, tonight they get two new friends, a 6" blue texas and a small convict. chris |

It is also a place to share experiences or tell something about your aquarium and fish. I think on this site, especially in the cichlid forum, it would better serve everyone if people shared more about their tank, new fish, and other information that could possible help others instead of them just asking questions all the time. Since I keep rift lake africans, I'm not going to make a suggestion about your situation. Keep us informed about how it goes. |

chris1017 Fish Addict Posts: 610 Kudos: 421 Votes: 70 Registered: 09-Sep-2003 | added the texas and the 2 convicts last night. the gt and the texas have already lip locked 2 or 3 times and i think they have each claimed half of my 125usg. the oscar is out and moving around now and for the moment no one is bothering him. as for the convicts, they are so small i can't see them at the moment. chris |

chris1017 Fish Addict Posts: 610 Kudos: 421 Votes: 70 Registered: 09-Sep-2003 | that's what i did, when i bought the texas i also bought a peice of drift wood about 3 feet long with a bunch of branches comming off of it. this tank is becoming very strange, now the texas is beating on the gt, the oscar chases the texas and the gt no longer attacks anyone. chris |
